About

This website is part of our campaign in bringing about awareness for ugly food. Cosmetic filtering of food is very common these days and has resulted in a large amount of food waste locally.

However, a large proportion of these food being thrown away are actually edible and are as nutritious as food which look more aesthetically pleasing.

Featuring Nichol Ng from The Food Bank Singapore, we share her inside story on how she overcame bulimia which sparked her determination to start up her own company with her brother in helping to reduce food waste in Singapore.

Our photo story talks about a perfect example of how, with the use of aesthetically unpleasing food you are able to cook up a scrumptious meal like any other.

We hope you can learn more about ugly food and give them a chance in the future!
